The 4x4 Golden Rhino Adventure is an annual event held during the week of National Woman’s Day of 9 August. The event will cover Mapungubwe National Park in South Africa, Sentinel Ranch and Tuli Circle Safari Area in Zimbabwe, and the Northern Tuli Game Reserve in Botswana. Entrants to the event will need fully equipped 4x4 vehicles – this is a typical 4x4 off-road overlanding and outdoor lifestyle adventure. The offroad expedition will cover pristine scenery, first to third world areas including wild and rural South African bush. Accommodation on route will vary from camping sites with ablutions to wild camping with no facilities mostly in Big5 areas, driving in the Limpopo, Tuli and Shashe riverbeds, with moderate and some challenging off-road conditions.
